I’m organizing a partnership to purchase a Cessna 182 Skylane based here in Anchorage to serve as the ultimate backcountry hauler. The 182 is the gold standard for Alaska bush flying because it actually has the useful load to carry full fuel, two guys, and a quartered moose back home without complaining. This bird will be equipped with heavy-duty landing gear and a STOL kit, making it perfect for getting into tight gravel bars or remote strips for your annual hunting and fishing trips.
We’re looking for a few more partners to join this co-ownership and split the fixed costs, specifically to help offset the steep price of hangar space and annual maintenance. Since most of us really only need the plane for specific windows during the season, a fractional share makes way more sense than letting a capable asset sit idle. Access is available seasonally from Jan 1 to Dec 31, with 24-hour access Daily. Night usage is allowed.
This listing uses an Unlimited model. This means if you run out of your guaranteed advance bookings, you can still book unlimited trips, but only 3 days in advance.
Booking slot length is 24 Hours (but you can book consecutive slots).
You are allowed to access the asset after-hours. Owners can enjoy the asset at the same time. It has 4 seats. So if you are taking only 1, you can allow 3 owners to go with you, maximizing availability for everyone.
